The course explores the relations between the human body and technologies in the (alternative) past, present and future, with special emphasis on engaging with audience through platforms of speculation (Dunne & Raby, 2013) and discussion (Tharp & Tharp, 2018) through the making of artifacts and narratives.
The course combines studio research and academic discussion in relation to natural sciences, and students receive training in employing scientific theories in connection with their own design and research work.
